Sunday Funday – November 1

Happy Sunday! Here are my recommendations for what to read, listen to, eat, and do from my adventures this week.

READ. In the spirit of Halloween, check out this gallery of supermodel Heidi Klum’s extravagant Halloween costumes through the years. She’s got the right idea: if you’re got a bunch of money, you better go all out for Halloween.

LISTEN TO. Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! I grew up listening to WWDTM in my parent’s house, but appreciate it all the more as an adult who keeps up on current events. (Don’t tell anyone, but I like to keep track of how many points I would earn if I were on the show. #lifegoals)

EAT. Brunch at Crema Bakery & Cafe in South Austin. This place is so good in every way– their brunch is generous, affordable, and delicious, and their pastry work and desserts are show-stoppers. Check out their hand-decorated candy skulls!

DO. Show me your Halloween costumes! While I was a beautiful princess for my office’s celebration on Friday, The Man and I masqueraded as “new homeowners” on Halloween. This involved a lot of ripping things out, cutting holes in walls, and spackling. Lots and lots of spackling.
